Heading Home

This morning my Grandpa passed away so we are all headed back to Montana for the next week. It is a hard thing to see him go but he is restored now and no longer in pain. His family loved him so much that it is very hard for us to not have him with us. I can't wait to see him again in heaven!!! I get the biggest smile on my face when I think of him there but at the same time tears fall off my cheeks.

We had a nice morning today at the local market. I don't think they get too many tourists there. We got lots of looks. Thankfully Alisson speaks spanish very well so we were able to buy a couple things. Lots of great fruits and vegetables.

Luke and Russ are at the beach right now trying to hook up with some surf lessons. Hope they don't come back to worked over!!

My mom said it ways 24 degrees in Great Falls. We didn't bring anything for that kind of weather!! It is going to be another shock to our systems when we get there tomorrow night. Anyway....don't know how much I will be writing while we are there. I'm sure you don't need any funeral details. Check back in another week!

Oh, Staci. We are so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I hope that you travel safe to MT and that your family has a wonderful celebration of your grandfather's life.
Take care and we'll check your blog upon your return. Kate

Staci. Having just held the funeral for my Grandma, I certainly feel for you right now. There is a mixed emotion about "heading home", but thanks be to God for the joy of life and the life that is to come. We will be praying for you in church tomorrow morning and remember you this week.

Staci, I've been thinking about you guys throughout the day today. Luke called this morning so that put you on my mind early. I'm just shooting up quick "flare prayers" for you today. May the Lord be your strength.
